Osiris
"Osiris," the last instrument I made in the twentieth century, is here commemorated. Osiris represented the Egyptian belief in rebirth and their feeling that order and justice persevered beyond the grave.The ancient Egyptians were a pragmatic people. A person was not expected to be perfect, just balanced. Osiris, the violin, is tonally balanced with a sound for all ages. On the back the symbol for everlasting life is engraved just below the button. Inside, Osiris, the god reigns.
