Musical instruments have always been conceived for the masculine hand. This violin was made for a woman — Sherry Woods, a composer of music inspired during hours of meditation in the Buddhist way - enabling her to feel completely at ease with her instrument. A faceted corundum set into the Lotus flower on the back of the scroll signifies "the Jewel is in the Lotus."
