Violins
Big tone, sweet yet powerful, mellow but zinging with an edge that cuts to the back of any hall. That's the sound quality I strive for with every instrument varying in different aspects and degrees of intensity depending on the design or personal request.
Cheshire
A violin with a deep dramatic g string balanced by dark, smooth-chocolate tones through d, a, and into the clear upper register of the e that gives an immediate sensation of sonorous pleasure. The slim neck makes navigation through all positions a joy.

Pearl
Immediate response and a polished tone throughout characterize the Pearl. A light, shimmering iridescence pulsates and gives the Pearl a bright edge throughout its range.

Pythagoras
This violin has a big beautiful sound and a classically proportioned look enhanced by New Mexican turquoise studs inlaid in the pegs and tailpiece.

Zeus
Lightning strikes down the back of the scroll and a thunderous sound emanates from within. Zeus can almost play himself.

Ladybug
As its name implies, the Ladybug was made with a small-handed person in mind. Although technically a 7/8th violin from a design by Amati, my Ladybug sounds a lot bigger than it looks and feels.

YinYang
A one-piece back of Oregon maple cut in the 1920’s and a top of Port Orford cedar coupled with a design of my own – slightly wider bouts and flat arching give this violin projection and warmth of tone.
